Maybe yours, but not mine

In this episode of “Schadenfreude Theater,” the New York Times describes the heartbreak of psorisis increduilty experienced by rich people when other rich people treat them the way they treat everyone else.
“While the fallout from Mr. Madoff’s suspected con game shook investors around the world, perhaps nowhere was there a higher concentration of victims than [...]

If you aren’t pissed, you aren’t paying attention

I’ve read Riverbend’s blog for a long time.  She’s a great writer who’s insights into life on the ground in Baghdad are essential reading.  The time between posts has been getting longer and longer, and I’m so afraid for her.  Can God ever forgive us for what we’ve wrought there?

Sick..and not in the way that means “good”

If this weren’t so awful, there would be a joke in there about zombie armies. But it is awful, and I feel so bad for the families.
